Hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, Jesús de la Garza has a wide range of experience in business and counseling, having earned master’s degrees in both fields with a specialty in group counseling. His education and experience have helped him expand his perspective on human behavior and the challenges a person faces in group interactions.

Jesús has over three decades of experience in the steel industry, including his service as a representative of TATA Steel International Americas (formerly Corus International Americas) and British Steel Limited. Additionally, his life’s journey has led him to wear many different hats over the years, including:

• Certified Forum Trainer since 2004
• Certified Moderator Trainer since 2006
• Member of the EO Global Board of Directors, 2006-2009
• Graduate of The Leadership Academy in 2008

• Certified speaker for the EO Global Speakers Academy in 2021

Throughout that hectic schedule, Jesús has continued to enhance people’s personal and professional lives through his continually-developed materials, published papers, and seminars. He has studied psychoanalysis, facilitated hundreds of sessions with different Forums and Groups across the globe and been the proud recipient of multiple recognition awards from international EO chapters and organizations. A relentless world traveler, Jesús has visited more than 64 countries and worked in over 40.

His dedication to helping people maximize their potential led Jesús to found Monarch Leaders, a Transformative Leadership effort designed to help leaders become more effective in working with their executive teams. He has also written and published 100 Leadership Questions, a book aimed at helping individuals identify their strengths and areas of opportunity so they can become better leaders.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Jesús makes time for personal care and development as well. He has volunteered at Monterrey for Hombre Renovado (a rehabilitation center for minors) and makes sure he has a few hours left over for hobbies like watching movies, reading, trekking, and scuba diving. He has even continually worked to better himself, embracing plant-based nutrition over the years.
