Meet Ellie Byrd, Founder and Master Facilitator

Ellie Byrd is the Founder and CEO of ForumSherpa, an executive leadership organization that provides tools and services for high-functioning peer teams called Forums. As a Forum specialist, Ellie spends the majority of her time traveling the world and working with teams of CEO’s, Presidents and entrepreneurs.

Dr. Mary Pike is a popular keynote speaker and an EO University speaker. In addition to her corporate work, she has facilitated Forum Boost programs, the Goalkeepers retreat, Forum meetings and Forum retreats.
Maureen Schantz has been a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization for the last nine years, attending numerous universities, conferences and learning events. She has been a forum moderator, belongs to a weekly accountability group, served as the Accelerator president for DC and is currently the Mentorship chair for DC.
A member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization since 1995, Shelby Hacala has volunteered as a local chapter board member in several roles – Forum chair, Mentorship chair and Educational chair. In 2003, he joined the EO trainer community to facilitate FTP (Forum Training Program), MTP (Moderator Training Program), and retreat work delivered in both French and English. Since then, his teachings have extended to EO, YPO and WPO Forum retreats. Recently he began working with company CEOs and their teams on strategy and personal development.
Mark is at the forefront of a new generation of transformative leaders. He is the President and CEO of an international personal and business coaching firm, Breakthrough Coaching, that helps individuals and companies break through the insanity, see things differently and fulfill the destiny they desire. He is the author of three best-selling books and has been the recipient of many awards. Mark has served as President of EO South Florida for two terms, is the Founder and Chairman of the EO South Florida Presidents Council and serves as the EO U.S. East Global Student Entrepreneur Awards Director. His coaching skills make him a sought after Retreat Facilitator.
Jesús de la Garza brings with him a unique background of psychology, counseling, and entrepreneurial leadership in the steel industry. His extensive experience with Forum training and his strategic location in Monterrey, Mexico makes him uniquely qualified to facilitate your Forum training in either English or Spanish.
Michael Erath has spent his entire career in the trenches of the entrepreneurial world. He also co-founded a Hardwood Timber Trading Company in 1999 which grew from start-up to a $27MM business in 2007. Since 2003 he has been an active member of several business peer groups – YPO, where he spent 9 years in Forum as a member of the Southern 7 Chapter; EO, where he continues his Forum experience as a member of the Arizona Chapter to this day; and Vistage, where he was a member of a Trusted Advisors Group in Columbus, Ohio.
Matthew’s professional focus is to support individuals and groups in achieving their greatest potential. Matthew has traveled to three-dozen countries as a photojournalist and has cultivated a keen sense in authentically connecting and guiding diverse individuals and groups to achieve their optimum potential. Through Matthew’s travels, he became passionate about the field of adult learning and the unmet need of exploring and articulating purpose.
Mike is a results-focused coach and facilitator and an active member or the entrepreneurial community. Mike’s own business journey began at a young age by growing up in the family business. In 2007, he stepped out on his own to found an oilfield service company–Enerbuilt Technologies–which was twice named to Alberta Venture’s list of the 50 fastest-growing companies. In 2014, Mike himself was named a regional finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year competition.
Daniel Nel is an entrepreneur who gets his inspiration from leading people, continuous learning and new technologies that change the way we work. He always strives to learn, contribute, inspire and lead others to discover their full potential. As a mentor and entrepreneur he is passionate about developing others’ talents and sharing his knowledge to help them achieve their goals. He consistently seeks opportunities to assist potential entrepreneurs in establishing businesses that are viable and sustainable.
Sarah joins the ForumSherpa team of Sherpa Certified Facilitators with a passion to bring out the best in her clients as they bring out the best in her. Sarah has the unique ability to engage quickly, understand group dynamics, create amazing synergy and facilitate positive transformation. She has the insight to ask the right questions with perfect timing to empower Forums to open doorways to the next level.
Daniel Wang is a passionate and purpose-driven, big-hearted, engineering-trained, conscientious serial entrepreneur. His top passions include community, collaboration, and connecting brilliant people! Daniel was actively involved in EO as Membership Chair, Forum Chair, and President-elect while he served on the EO Toronto Board for three consecutive years. He also served on the EO Global Forum Committee concurrently.
Ron Tsang is a former stock analyst on Canada’s Wall Street who has evaluated thousands of business presentations from CEOs and CFOs to make sound investment decisions. Ron is passionate about helping leaders connect and communicate with their team to drive higher performance. In addition to being an independent financial advisor, Ron now works with organizations to improve employee productivity through clear business communication, and he helps individuals increase their personal influence through their executive presence.
After years in the field of graduate education, Marsha established her own business, Catalyst Connections Global LLC (CCG), a consulting and coaching firm, specializing in higher education, leadership development, training, and coaching services. She is passionate about leading diverse communities to shared purpose and commitment; and about helping communities with shared purpose understand and mine the complexity and diversity they contain. In addition, she provides personal coaching for executives and leadership teams.
Kyle has been a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization for the last seven years, serving in many capacities on the Board of the Raleigh-Durham chapter while participating in a Forum. Of the numerous honors awarded  to him, he most appreciates receiving the “Top 40 under Forty Leadership Award” from Triangle Business Journal, as well as being named an NACD Governance Fellow by the National Association of Corporate Directors.

Meet Joy Hugick, Client Services Coordinator

Joy attended the University of South Florida where she earned her B.A. in Speech Communication with concentrations in interpersonal, organizational, and health communication. She has a background in public health policy, communication, and partnership development. Following a decade at the nation’s premier public health agency, Joy established her own consulting business where she skillfully worked across government, healthcare, consumer, industry, and nonprofit spaces. Joy is delighted to be serving our clients and facilitators to provide support in delivering the best retreat to suit your needs. In her spare time, Joy enjoys volunteering, practicing yoga, and spending time with her husband, Brad, and their lab rescue, Buddy.
