Meet Ellie Byrd, Founder and Master Facilitator

Ellie Byrd is the Founder and CEO of ForumSherpa, an executive leadership organization that provides tools and services for high-functioning peer teams called Forums. As a Forum specialist, Ellie spends the majority of her time traveling the world and working with teams of CEO’s, Presidents, and entrepreneurs. Ellie has been a knowledgeable, energetic, in-demand retreat facilitator for over 20 years.

Matthew is a sought-after speaker, writer, and consultant who has facilitated retreats for hundreds of CEOs, written extensively for international publications, and delivered keynote addresses at leading business conferences.

Beyond his firsthand experience as a CEO, Matthew brings over a decade of facilitation experience. He has a unique capacity to normalize discomfort and encourage teams to bring their full expression to the work, which in turn, unleashes greater innovation, buy-in, accountability, and results.

Kyle has been a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization for over seven years, serving in many capacities on the Board of the Raleigh-Durham chapter while participating in a Forum of his own. Of the numerous honors awarded  to him, he most appreciates receiving the “Top 40 under Forty Leadership Award” from Triangle Business Journal, as well as being named an NACD Governance Fellow by the National Association of Corporate Directors. As a retreat facilitator with a background in emergency services, Kyle brings many unique skills to the table.
Jesús de la Garza brings with him a unique background of psychology, counseling, and entrepreneurial leadership in the steel industry. His extensive experience with Forum training and his strategic location in Monterrey, Mexico make him uniquely qualified to facilitate your Forum training in either English or Spanish.

Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Jesús has a wide range of expertise in business and counseling, having earned master’s degrees in both fields. Jesús specializes in groups, which has expanded his perspective of human behavior, helping to find the challenges a person faces in group interactions.

Sarah’s passion is bringing out the best in her clients, so they can achieve their goals and transform their lives to be extraordinary. Sarah has the unique ability to engage Forums quickly in a deeply meaningful way, to understand the group dynamics and facilitate positive transformation. She has the insight to ask the right questions with impeccable timing to empower Forum members to be open to the 5%. For Sarah, it is the intersection of passion, strengths, values and engagement that makes facilitation so much fun. She helps Forum members discover this intersection in their lives, relationships and businesses. Sarah has the ability to see clearly and inspire groups to align, focus and rally around a common purpose.
Daniel Nel is an entrepreneur who gets his inspiration from leading people, continuous learning and new technologies that change the way we work. He always strives to learn, contribute, inspire and lead others to discover their full potential. As a mentor, entrepreneur, and retreat facilitator he is passionate about developing others’ talents and sharing his knowledge to help them achieve their goals. He consistently seeks opportunities to assist potential entrepreneurs in establishing businesses that are viable and sustainable.
Dr. Mary Pike is a popular keynote speaker and retreat facilitator. In addition to her corporate work, she has facilitated Forum Boost programs, the Goalkeepers retreat, Forum meetings and Forum retreats.

Mark is a professional Coach and Forum 2.0® Certified Facilitator.  An EO Member for close to a decade, Mark has served two terms as the President of the South Florida Chapter. He uses his experience to help Forums improve alignment and maximize their Forum experience. His expertise includes the popular Forum Boost retreat that helps Forums build a pipeline of high-quality presentations by streamlining their monthly update, coaching, and presentation processes. He works with individuals, EO and YPO Member and Spousal Forums and Corporate teams to inspire them to dig deeper and reach higher.

Maureen Schantz has been a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization for over ten years, attending numerous universities, conferences and learning events. She has been a forum moderator, belongs to a weekly accountability group, served as the Accelerator president for DC and is currently the Mentorship chair for DC. Interwoven with these activities, she has time to be a fantastic retreat facilitator.
Ron Tsang, Forum Certified Facilitator

Following a successful career as a stock analyst on Canada’s Wall Street, Ron Tsang is a professional speaker and independent financial advisor who also teaches business communication at Centennial College’s School of Business.

Because he is passionate about helping leaders engage their organizations to achieve higher performance, Ron became a ForumSherpa Certified Facilitator. His corporate retreats energize and strengthen teams and his strategic planning sessions lead to clear actions and measurable results.

Meet Daniela Wancier, Facilitator

Daniela Wancier is a presenter, educator, consultant and movement specialist. She is 1 of 35 certified Movement Pattern Analysts in the world and a Forum 2.0 facilitator. What gets her out of bed each morning is her passion to help entrepreneurs, business executives and their leadership teams cultivate their self-awareness and team dynamics for optimum harmony and productivity.

Daniel Wang is a passionate and purpose-driven, big-hearted, engineering-trained, conscientious serial entrepreneur and retreat facilitator. His top passions include community, collaboration, and connecting brilliant people! Daniel was actively involved in EO as Membership Chair, Forum Chair, and President-elect while he served on the EO Toronto Board for three consecutive years. He also served on the EO Global Forum Committee concurrently.

Meet Maryellen Hess Cameron, Writer and Researcher

Maryellen Hess Cameron has traveled a varied and winding path to build her expertise to where it is today. She has over 30 years of experience creating content for newspapers, magazines and niche publications. Her journey included 20 years as the Chief Executive Officer of two non-profit organizations where she led missions to lift people out of homelessness. Always an avid people-watcher, Maryellen gained unique insights about human nature working with people at their most vulnerable and calls on these insights today to create content that moves readers. She has a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Akron. Maryellen’s fingerprints are woven throughout ForumSherpa’s materials, website, and blog.

Meet Joy Hugick, Client Engagement Director

Joy attended the University of South Florida where she earned her B.A. in Speech Communication with concentrations in interpersonal, organizational, and health communication. She has a background in public health policy, communication, and partnership development. Following a decade at the nation’s premier public health agency, Joy established her own consulting business where she skillfully worked across government, healthcare, consumer, industry, and nonprofit spaces. Joy is delighted to be serving our clients and retreat facilitators to provide support in delivering the best event to suit your needs. In her spare time, Joy enjoys volunteering, practicing yoga, and spending time with her husband, Brad, and their lab rescue, Buddy.
